Lake Alan Henry Information

Lake Alan Henry is located six miles east of Justiceburg, Texas.  Justiceburg is on US HWY 84 between Post, Texas and Snyder Texas.  The lake is fed by the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River as well as numerous creeks.

The lake is outlined by 56 miles of beautiful and scenic shoreline.  Lake Alan Henry is among the top trophy bass lakes in the nation.  In addition to champion large mouth bass the lake also harbors catfish, brim, crappie, gar, carp, spotted bass and smallmouth bass.  Structure in the reservoir is primarily rock and flooded timber.  The lake is very narrow and the shoreline is very steep.   There are small areas of aquatic vegetation in some of the coves.  The area around the lake is home to white tail and mule deer, mountain lion, bobcat, feral hogs, dove and quail.
